Adendorf, also known as the pottery village due to the craft of pottery that was practiced here for a long time, has a very well-preserved church. The patronage of the church and parish has been given to Saint Margaret. Although we found the main entrance locked, a visit was possible via the side entrance - at least below the organ gallery up to a dividing grille. But the view into the church interior was definitely worth the detour.

Before the current church was built, the parish was already mentioned in a document 300 years earlier. It is not known when a previous church was built there.

The princely family of Adendorf Castle reserved a box behind the hole to the right of the choir for their church services. The locals called it "the princely hole".
