Cycling

Exploring the island of Reichenau by bike is a very nice experience. The entire area is used for agriculture in some way. But it doesn't get boring because the crops are constantly changing. It's a shame that it's not as well known in the shadow of the island of Mainau.

Beautiful island with LOTS of vegetable cultivation and fishing. Unfortunately, it's very crowded when the weather is nice. But it's good for relaxing during the week or when the weather is bad. Well-signposted cycling and hiking trails.

The island of Reichenau has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000 and is the largest island in Lake Constance. On the island, a great deal of vegetables are grown in greenhouses and in the open air. The cycle path leads directly between the greenhouses
