Langcliffe Scar is the name given to the rock face limestone, overlooking the village of Langcliffe in Ribblesdale, the Yorkshire Dales. It's also the name given to this road cycling climb which is very well known, named as one of Simon Warren's top 100 cycling climbs in the UK from the village up, with an average gradient of eight per cent but ramping up to 20 per cent in places!

Towards the end of the route it directs you to a wall with a foot climb as appose to a gate. I had to carry my bike over which is a slight challenge. On the whole a good ride and I’ll do it again in better weather
