The moderate gradient connects Oelinghoven and Bockeroth and you can take the route for example. Connect well with the street "In der Vorstadt (before / after Bockeroth) in order to avoid the large bypass road from / to Oberpleis.
I recommend the route in the direction of Bockeroth, as the bad asphalt is much more noticeable downhill.
