Standen House is a fascinating arts and crafts house that was home to the wealthy Beale family until 1972, when it was given to the National Trust. The house was designed by architect Philip Webb, a friend of William Morris. He decorated the house's interior with Morris fabrics, wallpapers, furnishings and carpets, creating a beautiful and unusal home. You can still discover many beautiful arts and crafts in the house and explore the landscaped gardens.
