The Dommerberg is a 237 meter high mountain and the highest elevation in Darmstadt. The Bismarckturm is located on top of the mountain and is dilapidated and not to be visited. The Seven Hills Trail leads directly past here.

On the Dommerberg, the highest elevation before Darmstadt in the forest is the 26m high tower from 1908 is closed by a fence and you can not get it off. He was erected here as a reminder of Otto Fürst von Bismarck.

This tower is in the middle of the forest, easily hidden but beautiful to look at.

The 25 mtr. high Bismark tower was inaugurated in 1908 and is probably only used by Telekom today. The Darmstadt "Heiner" also call the tower "Dindefass"
