Over the southern Steigerwald you hike over the Kehrenberg and Hohen Landsberg, where there are many natural habitats. More than 1000 species of butterflies have been found here. In the north of the Steigerwald, the route leads through extensive beech forests, which connoisseurs classify as very valuable.
