Double Dolmen, was discovered on May 3, 1893 by Pasquale Maggiulli and Cosimo De Giorgi in the territory of Giurdignano, in the open countryside. It is hypothesized that the original undivided megalith "in the shape of a circle, 4.30 meters long by 1.50 wide", supported by the discovery, 10 meters away, of the probable missing connection fragment, "trapezoidal" and with the identical characteristics of the residual covering slabs. Today the north-facing one has a collapsed roof slab on the orthostats that supported it. The whole complex rests on a large outcropping rock bank. The fragment of which De Giorgi speaks is no longer distinguishable, confused among the large amount of material.
To be able to find it, you have to cross the countryside for about 50 meters, it is on the edge guarded by a beautiful olive tree 🥰
