    If you are here, you might have already seen these warning signs: Radiation! You will find old uranium mines all along the Grand Canyon. In this area, miners were prospecting for copper ore and uranium. Today, the shaft is closed, but you can see relicts of the mining past all over Horseshoe Mesa.
