Near the village Jachenhausen near Riedenburg is the Devil's Rock.
There is a legend that on the rock once a monastery is said to have been destroyed by the devil. After that, people have been repeatedly thrown from the rock into death by the corporeal. Only a boy who defeated the devil in the game put an end to the haunting. A buck of the fleeing evil and a footprint of the boy should still be visible on a stone today.
Today the Teufelsfelsen with a departure ramp built on it paragliders serves us hang gliders as a starting point for a flight over the valley.

Beautiful view of the bathing lake St.Agatha and the Altmühltal.

Either via the Schneiderkappelle or via Gundlfing (Sonnehang) choose the ascent. Crunchy but all the more beautiful, if you are rewarded with the view of the Altmühltal.
