Right next to the market square, hidden behind large old linden trees, stands the church.
It is an early Gothic fieldstone building, and the core of its surrounding walls, with their square-cut fieldstones, corresponds almost entirely to its original construction from the 13th century.

It consists of a nave, which is connected to the broad tower house and the recessed choir by large pointed arch openings.

A group of three tall pointed arch windows with a higher central window, installed in the east wall of the choir, can still be seen in traces.

The original windows of the nave were undoubtedly of the same type. The old window traces on the tower also reveal early Gothic traces.
