At this point, the lake Lagoa Azul is largely separated from the neighboring lake Lagoa Verde by the road embankment except for a narrow channel under the road. The two lakes are different in that the Lagoa Azul appears blue as usual due to the reflection of the sky, while the Lagoa Verde appears green from above due to the vegetation in it.

Mountain biking

One of the most special places when walking the trails and streets of Sete Cidades. At this point - which cannot be called a bridge - you can see the two lagoons in different planes. It's the best place to notice the difference in the color of the lakes' waters.
