From the park with benches you have a wonderful view of the length of the Griebnitzsee.
The small park is named after Carl Friedrich Heinrich Reinhard Scheer, a German admiral during World War I who commanded the High Seas Fleet in the Battle of the Skagerrak, one of the greatest naval battles in history. During the Nazi era there was a warship of the same name.

Here you will find a small, little bustling green area with a bench that invites you to rest and offers a beautiful view of the Teltow Canal.

The Admiral Scheer Blick is Klein Glienicke to find, that winding place that belongs to Potsdam, but north of the Teltowkanals protrudes to Wannsee. An unusual territorial exclave that belonged to the most sensitive sections of the GDR border before the turn. The approximately 500 residents were de facto imprisoned, surrounded by walls, barbed wire and watchtowers.
