Many centuries ago, according to legend, there was a small village on the north side of the Milseburg. The chief already had seven girls and now asked his pregnant wife to finally bear him a son. When the child was born, it was not a son again. Full of fear, the mother told her husband that it was a boy. She did not dare to wash the newborn at the village fountain. So she ordered her maid to bathe it in the nearby pond. But the chief rode after the maid. The mother then asked God and the saints for help. When the maid bathed the child in the pond, the man snatched it from her hand. And lo and behold: the girl had become a boy. Since then, the pond has been called the Bubenbad and the rock next to it the Bubenbader Stein.

A very mystical place. There's no official hiking trail leading here, just a small path (more like a game trail).
