The Indonesian national monuments is an obelisk formed like a torch. It's possible to get on top of it and get a panoramic view of Jakarta. It's surrounded by a park, and both the monument and the park are popular hangouts for local people, especially in the evening and on weekends. There're also some soccer, volleyball, and basketball fields.
