Like a little luxury in the hot desert. It is a perfect spot for hikes in the Valley of fire. There are even trails close by like the Petrified Log Trail and Pinnacle Loop.

The campground has a large bathhouse, hot showers, potable water and even WIFI (for an extra fee). There are 44 sites, some of them with electricity. Most campsites are large and can accommodate trailers/RVs up to 55 feet+. Campsites 20-22 are ‘walk to’ campsites (parking about 50 yards away).

The campground is open year round with no reservation, but on first come, first serve basis. A campsite is 20 Dollars per night.

One of the best campsites we've been at. Great value for the money, clean, spacey, quiet. First come first serve. If you can stand the heat, even walking around the campground to admire the rocks is worthwhile.

The Atlal Rock Campground is a really great campground, which can be occupied on a first come first serve basis until 2022.

From 2023 you should finally be able to reserve it in advance!!!

It's popular as a stopover right at the start from Las Vegas or before returning to Las Vegas, and it's often hard to get a spot.

Campsites 23 to 44 have electricity and water connection.
