Räuberhöhle

The hall-like cave was once used by all sorts of villains as a shelter. (Is told at least. ;-)) The cave is a great destination and great to watch. Here live also numerous bats, why rest and consideration is required.

Supposedly a haven for the lawless, now an attraction for hikers and Mtblers

Is easy to find and go in. Is pretty big.
No opening times. No entry.

The cave must be on an MTB tour on the program.

Dark cave with a beautiful view of the valley

Nice little cave that can be walked for free. It is probably the place of arrival for climbers.

There are many worthwhile trails in the area.

I'm through here on my tour from Regensburg to Batzhausen. Very nice path along the Jurasteig. When you drive here, be considerate of hikers.
Get off and let the hikers by and stay friendly.
Beginners should rather ride flat, wide paths at the beginning and practice braking and swerving. Helmet is always mandatory.
Some will have to push their MTB here. There are places here you will lift your MTB over it. Some places are steep and very narrow.
