The Sielgraben dike used to be a flood protection dike.
It begins on the B214 between Norddrebber and Suderbruch and runs in a large arc past Nienhagen to just before Gilten on the L191.
Unfortunately it has been neglected and is completely overgrown with plants.
It can hardly be seen in the area from B214 onwards.
Several times a year it is mowed by the hunters on the former crest of the dike and then you can take a nice walk to the field path that leads back to Gilten via Nienhagen.
