The site appears to have been occupied since the ninth century2, the seat of the Keravéon rule2. However, the first building is attributed to Pierre de Talhouet in the mid-14th century, the seat of the Keravéon rule2. It was enlarged in the seventeenth century and rebuilt in the nineteenth century. The castle was owned by the Talhouët family between the 13th and 18th centuries before it passed to the Cambout family in Coislin2 in 17613.
