Hase-Else Bifurcation

Of course it is a rarity if one river becomes two. Very interestingly designed with the many information boards and signs, but then only 2 comfortably flowing streams. So not for adventurers, but more for nature lovers. More information here: bifurkation.de

It's nothing earth-shattering, but a rare phenomenon is lovingly explained and presented here: a river bifurcation. The rabbit is divided into Hare and Else. The Hase flows to the Ems and the Else to the Weser. You have the choice of either following the Hase cycle path to Meppen or the Else-Werre cycle path to Bad Oeynhausen. Very well-maintained facilities provided in the area by the local local history association: great toilet facilities, barbecue area and water treading pool.
