After Kintaikyo Bridge, Kikko Park welcomes you to the statue of the man who initiated the construction of the bridge, Kikkawa Hiroyoshi, the third lord of Iwakuni. In the Kikko Park were during the Edo period, the residences of the ruling Kikkawa family. Numerous temples and smaller buildings are still preserved.
