The reading stone house was built in the years 2001 to 2002 by a working group of various associations and organizations and is located on the premises of the municipality of Sengenthal, but maintenance is still the responsibility of the working group. A height control point and an aluminum sign in the masonry indicate the exact height of the structure of 569.70 m above sea level. Great break area with a wonderful view. Since 2017 there has also been an information board about the Lesesteinhaus and the surrounding area.
