Located just a short walk from the parking area, Sunrise Point offers absolutely stunning views into Bryce Canyon. The area is aptly named for being a fantastic spot to view the sunrise, as the eastern facing cliff faces catch the early morning rays and glow in various shades of reds and oranges. From the viewpoint you will look out on to Boat Mesa and Sinking Ship, both iconic hoodoos in the National Park.

Sunrise Point is the best spot in Bryce Canyon. There's a lot going on there at sunrise, which might add to the romance. Slightly diminishes, but it's a great spot for pictures and the sunrise is just phenomenal!
However, you should dress warmly - even if it is 50°C in the sun during the day, it is often not more than 9°C at sunrise. And btw. don't stare too much at the sun, but also look to the right of Sunrise Point to take breathtaking pictures! 😉 Then you don't have to go to sunrise 2 times like me or you go 2 times just because of that! 😊
