A long, suspended ladder (passable, children to the via ferrata set or rope) leads into a spectacular cave. Do not forget your headlamp! At the Rudolf-Decker-Steig through the Steinwandklamm there are a number of other small caves and passages to discover. A paradise for young and old.

The Steinwandklamm is a favorite hideaway for climbers and hikers, especially on hot days. In picturesque gorge landscape you can experience a breath of beautiful nature and adventure (especially for children). The via ferrata overcomes the left boundary wall of the gorge and ends after the "Turkish hole" (it was used by the population as a hiding place in the Turkish siege) in gentle forest slopes (on a forest road to the left to Gasthof Jagasitz). In the first third there is a breezy version to climb with the ladder through the Wildschutzen hole (steep, long ladder and a cave passage). Inexperienced and children should definitely be taken to a safety rope. In the Turkish hole it is dark, often slippery and wet, good shoes and a lamp help here. The via ferrata was built by the ÖTK Triestingtal in 1927.

📷 08/12/2015 - The Rudolf Decker Steig can do it, shouldn't be left out - be careful, a little surefootedness is required 😊👍

The via ferrata overcomes the left boundary wall of the gorge and ends after the Türkenloch.
