Why is a detour worthwhile? Quite clearly, the highest point in the LDK, whether hiked or hit by bike ... definitely a highlight!

Partly well-preserved original structure of the street.
You can see the division very well.

Old Roman road. Thousands of years ago people came here. In part, very hubbelig. Informative information signs along the way.

Beautiful for hiking
Deer enclosure, Ederquelle, soul path, bog birch path, Kyrill path, Forsthaus Hohenroth forest information center and delicious cakes and snacks on the weekend...hmmm

Actually nice place.
Unfortunately no view from benches and loungers.
Where I was at the top, the MTB bikers peed behind the benches, or rather, in front of the benches, into the bushes so that everyone could see that the hikers were shaking their heads, which I can understand.
At the moment there is a lot of construction work up there (wood, etc.), which doesn't bother you, but the paths are partly muddy, but it's fun to trail through there;)
It was fun, the tour was great paths, which made up for everything! TOP!!!

Can be driven nicely with a few prospective points along the way.
