Elisabethenwörth is a river island right of the Rhine above the town of Germersheim. It was built between 1826 and 1833 in the course of the straightening of the Rhine during the construction of the Germersheimer average. About the island runs the border between Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate.

Elisabethenwörth (also Elisabethenwört, older names: Germersheimer Au and Huttenheimer Insel) is a river island to the right of the Rhine above the town of Germersheim. It was created between 1826 and 1833 in the course of the straightening of the Rhine during the construction of the Germersheim average. The state border between Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate runs across the island.
