Hackney Marshes is a park and nature reserve that is home to lots of wildlife and is hailed as the ‘spiritual home of Sunday league football’. Keep a look-out for birds, including buzzards, kestrels, pheasants, snipe, and woodcock. You may also spot mammals such as voles, mice and badgers. There are myriad insects and plant species to observe, too.
