The Kösching Forest (WAF - Wittelsbach compensation fund) is incredibly beautiful. This can be explained because it has been documented in this forest since 1000 AD.
It is 5562 ha in total. North of the road it belongs to the Wittelsbacher and south of the road to the state.
It is probably thanks to the Wittelsbachs that the Kösching Forest is still such a magical mixed forest.
