Tips
A hike over the Hohe Haid towards Schneeberg or to Weißenstädtersee is definitely recommended.Admittedly, it's a climb of 848 meters, but it's not particularly steep or strenuous, and it's a great bike ride.A TIP: The Wetzstein (Wheel Stone) is also nearby; there's a small shelter and a bench for resting.And it's worth mentioning that there's less going on here than on the Ochsenkopf side when you're hiking in the Fichtel Mountains.
