The parish church of St. Johannes Baptist zu Warburg-Neustadt with its mighty tower stands out from the cityscape from afar. The nave is a three-nave, two-bay hall with a transept, begun in the first half of the 13th century. The baptistery was added by Arnold Pistor in the 15th century. The High Gothic choir was begun in 1366. The sculptures in the choir room from the 15th century are of great artistic importance. On the tower side I found the church open.
