During you visit to the magnificent Golubac Fortress stop by the big hall where you can see and learn more about this incredible holy book, Miroslav's Gospel.

Created in 1180 AC by Grigorij scribe-illuminator for Knez Miroslav, represents the oldest and most beautiful cyrillic book with the Serbs and the World.

History and journey of the book is remarkable. Original is held in Serbian National Museum in Belgrade but 300 scribed copies ordered by Knjaz Milos are in many major cultural institutions through the World.

Waiting for the guide to lead you through the exhibition would be good idea.
