The children's playground --> recreation, games and sports facility, which was presented in 1999 by the media with a smile as 'Ostfriesenwitz', offers a sandy beach directly behind the dike. The dry beach covers a total area of 9,000 square meters. On the dry beach, children can romp and have fun on various play equipment.
Next to the dry beach is the Watt'n Blick kiosk. This is the starting point of many mudflat hikes.
