Sanctuary of Święta Woda

The pilgrimage site of Świętej Wody (Holy Water), near Wasilkow, where it is said that the healing power of the spring water restored a blind man's sight, is a highly recommended destination. It's also a worthwhile tourist destination for non-religious people. From the nearest city (8 km), Bialystok, you can easily reach Świętej Wody in 40 minutes via bike paths and through forests and fields. Restaurants, cafés, hotels, and various kiosks invite you to shop. The entire area, including the "Hill of Crosses," the Bell Gate, the chapel, the church, and the beautiful surroundings, is worth seeing.
