The Gola di Pirincanes river bed hike is worth it just for the fact that you have the gorge all to yourself. She is little known, but really beautiful. There's a lot of wild peppermint growing in the riverbed and the whole canyon smells of it. You can cool off in some bathing pools.

The Pirincanes gorge is located about 700 meters high, on the slopes of Bruncu Cuxinadorgiu and forms open-air pools of crystalline water, called 'potholes of the giants'.
