The Oostendorper water mill is a double, water-driven mill with 3 undershot wheels on the Buurserbeek. On the left bank is the oil mill with one wheel and on the right bank is a flour mill with two wheels.

An idyllic place. You can take a good break around the mill. There is seating under old oak trees.

This is what "Visit Twente" writes about the Oostendorper Watermolen:
"In 1633 Willem Ripperda got permission to build the Oostendorp mills. At the beginning of the 20th century the mill was in danger of falling into disrepair and had to be restored in 1930. In 1946 the mills largely disappeared in the high water of the pond and were only fully restored in 1987 . Since May 1988 the mill has been in operation again and is open to visitors who can see how flour is ground and oil is beaten."
