Rothsee II Hydroelectric Power Plant

The Rothsee is part of the transfer system. It stores the Altmühl and Danube water transferred via the Main-Danube Canal.
The water can be released into the rivers below as required.
The Rothsee II hydropower plant generates an average of 1.8 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year.
