The Naafbach is an almost 22.7 km long tributary of the Agger in the Rheinisch-Bergischen district and Rhein-Sieg district. The Naafbach, which runs in the Bergisches Land, arises in the southern foothills of the Heckberger Forest from two source streams:
The western source stream (0.8 km long) rises in the Rheinisch-Bergischen district on the southeast flank of the Kleiner Heckberg (348.1 m above sea level). Its source is between Federath and the Siebelsnaaf farm. Leaving the forest area of its origin, it flows south-southeast to Abelsnaaf to unite with the eastern source stream to form the Naafbach.
