The Amsterdam Waterleidingduinen are a dune area between Zandvoort (North Holland) and the Langevelderslag in the municipality Noordwijk (South Holland).
The dune area is set up for the drinking water production of the city of Amsterdam. Every year, 50 million cubic meters of drinking water flow through this 3400 hectare area. [1] Water has been produced since 1853, making it the oldest water catchment area in the Netherlands. It is operated by Waternet.
