The wood mouse also has its own information page at lehrpfad-waldmaus.de.
There are some interesting things to learn there. The nature trail itself is peppered with a total of 22 educational boards in a loving style, a chime, balancing facilities, two rest huts, several benches, a barefoot trail and a dendrophone. On the barefoot path there has been a larger information board about the path and the surrounding area since January 2021.
By the way, the opinion of the wood mouse dad about the missing paper baskets is interesting: On the one hand, according to the Thuringian Forest Act, it is not permitted, on the other hand, the initiator relies on human reason and the role model character towards our children.

Last note: there are two geocaches hidden on the trail. The treasure of the wood mouse and the hotel of the wood mouse invite not only children to geocaching.
