The church, built in 1802, is a secular, rectangular plastered building with a boarded-up roof tower with a curved dome in the middle of the ridge.
Since the iron bell from 1816 cannot be rung for safety reasons, the ringing transmitted from a CD via loudspeakers has replaced the original sounds since the early 1990s. Because of its simplicity, the church is popularly known as the "prayer barn".
