The building is a surviving (cellar) part of a monastery where Benedictine nuns lived about 600 years ago. The monastery itself consisted of four wings in which exclusively nuns lived. These should have drunk native Danes there a lot of home-brewed beer which makes the Benedictines directly sympathetic 😀.
The two-storey part is walkable.
