A beautiful lake, always very popular. It can be reached with an easy walk by taking the cable car from the Sanctuary of Oropa (15 minutes' walk) or, if the lifts are closed, the journey takes about 2 hours and a quarter.

Cableway now inactive. Starting from the sanctuary you arrive at the lake with a walk on stony ground. Appropriate footwear is necessary and a walk not to be done in the height of summer because there are very few trees that shelter from the sun.

glacial lake at 1894 masl. Currently (2023) not reachable by cable car due to long extraordinary maintenance. This allows an excellent use of this place in the absence of the snack park which has always characterized the appearance of this location
