Pyramid in Rapa - built in 1811 (according to other sources in 1808 or 1795) in the Masurian village of Rapa, the family tomb of the Prussian family of barons von Fahrenheid, designed by an unknown architect. It is often believed to be Bertel Thorvaldsen, but there is no conclusive evidence to support this claim. A characteristic feature of the building is its shape, reminiscent of ancient Egyptian pyramids.

The village of Rapa belonged to the Fahrenheid family from the first half of the 18th century. They bought it from Christoph von Rap, hence the name of the village. The main seat of the Fahrenheids was located a dozen or so kilometers to the north in Beynuhnen, today in the Kaliningrad Oblast, where in their palace they gathered an impressive collection of sculptures and paintings.
