This narrow bridge is located in a beautiful spot and offers a great view of the old arm of the Rhine and its animal inhabitants. The wooden piles were reinforced with steel in October 2023 and the bridge has been accessible again since then.

The bridge is part of the Auen-Wildnispfad, which was founded in 2014 and is around 2.5 kilometers long, which leads through the Rheinauen-Landschaft nature reserve. The way over the bridge is closed due to dilapidation. A diversion is signposted. There is a small rest area with a table and benches nearby.
