Yes, the huge sandy area is really called Sahara! A beautiful landscape. A small Sahara in the immediate vicinity of Ommen. All full of sand! There are a few trees. When the weather is nice, there are a few people here. But it was not overcrowded (Saturday evening). There are enough parking spaces directly on the Sahara. From here you can take beautiful hikes to the Regge river.
