Best at sunrise high. That means from about 07:00 a.m. Then you have the Buddha in the rising sun. The ascent is quite exhausting in the heat and it goes straight up the mountain. On the descent I was too bold and too fast. I got stuck in the root and then flew a few meters. So better not exaggerate.
