Sacred Heart of Jesus Church was built in 1908 in the forms of the neo-Gothic style. It is a single-nave building with a pentagonal presbyterial apse. The tapering church tower is located on the right facade. In 1994-1996 the church was expanded on the initiative of Prelate Stanislaw Klosek. The preserved remains of a penitential cross, which was invented in Strzegow, are in the retaining wall of XX Lecia Street.

Road cycling

It is the oldest religious building in the city. The earliest mention of the temple dates back to 1315. However, this document mentions the founding of the church in 1289. It follows that the church was completed in the second half of the 13th century. According to old German sources, the church "was already standing in 1106, when the city received its first privilege from the Margrave of Lusatia".
