Ossuccio is located in the municipality of Tremezzina on Lake Como. It is a rich and varied area characterized by numerous testimonies of history, art and religion. In addition to the Sacro Monte, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003, the unique bell tower of the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena in Ospedaletto is among the numerous sights. It is famous for its Gothic-Moorish tower, which was built on top of the existing Romanesque bell tower. The old bell tower originally ended above the current mullion window.
