Tips
This is the former Sachsenhausen lock! The Pinnower is several KM further south! The Sachsenhausen lock is a now no longer usable ship lock in the Sachsenhausen district in the Oranienburg Canal. The lock was destroyed in 1945 and not rebuilt, as the Oranienburg Canal lost its importance due to the construction of the Oder-Havel Canal in 1914 and is only used as a connection between the Ruppin Canal and the Havel.
