Lake Echinger is one of the most popular bathing lakes in the north of Munich. Since it is fed with groundwater of the Munich gravel plain, which is continuously renewed by the groundwater flow, it has an excellent water quality.
There are sufficient parking spaces (1,300) available and a kiosk on the east bank offers food.
